ASTROBIO™ DP is our bio-based blend that replaces DPM, dipropylene glycol methyl ether (CAS 34590-94-8), in industrial, automotive, architectural and household coatings and cleaners. A slow-evaporating solvent, partially hydrophilic, used as a coalescing agent in waterborne paints and as a coupling aid in water-reducible coatings, with a faint and pleasant smell.

ASTROBIO™ DP replaces DPM in the formulation of industrial, automotive, architectural and household coatings and cleaners. It is often incorporated into latex emulsion coatings to prevent coagulation, and works as a coupling aid in water-reducible coatings and as a coalescing agent in decorative waterborne paints. A custom blend is available for maximum performance.
