Bio-solvent replacement of PM in many industrial application. ASTROBIO™ TL 2 it’s a solvent with high water solubility used in formulation of coatings, adhesives, paints and inks based on acrylics, epoxies, alkydics, vinylics, polyesters, melamines, phenolics, PIB and ABS resins. It has a great solvency power for rosins, nitrocellulose and some kinds of nylons as well. It’ s very effective as cleaner and degreaser in industrial settings too. ASTROBIO™ TL 2 it’s also compatible with bio-based polymers such as bio-based PIBs and it’s currently used in industrial, automotive and architectural coatings formulation. It’ a valid alternative to PM in leather finishing and in the formulation of industrial and household cleaners. TL 2 can also be used in the formulation of agricultural pesticides or crop protection products.
