Sustainable Replacement for dipropylene glycol methyl ether (DPGME o DPM) in many industrial applications. It’s a slow evaporating solvent that can be used to manufacture coatings and cleaners. It’s often incorporated into latex emulsion coatings and to prevent coagulation. It’s partially hydrophilic nature makes it an ideal coupling aid in water reducible coatings.
