It has a great solvency power for rosins, nitrocellulose, modified cellulose and some kinds of nylons, formulates sustainable paint strippers, machinery, industrial and household detergents, and is used in auto refinishing, in the formulation of herbicides and industrial coatings, and for cold degreasing in industrial settings.

ASTROBIO™ K80 formulates coatings, adhesives, paints and inks based on epoxies, vinylics, polyesters, melamines, polyvinyl alcohols, urethanes and phenolics. It is used for wipe cleaning, cold degreasing in industrial settings, paint strippers, machinery, industrial and household detergents and leather finishing, and it can modulate the evaporation rate of ASTROBIO™ AP or DS when needed.
