ASTROBIO™ VL replaces benzyl alcohol (CAS 100-51-6) in coatings, lacquers, paints, varnishes and inks based on epoxies and isocyanates, as a coalescing agent in water-based and solvent-based formulations, and in cold cleaning. A bio-based solvent blend developed in Italy since 2006, safer than benzyl alcohol due to its hazard statements, GHS and CLP classification.
